The scientific focus of the Helmholtz Research Field “Information” is to conduct research into the fundamental principles of information processing and the development of future data analysis and computing technologies as well as their application for the design of innovative materials. Within the framework of programme-oriented funding, Research Management is responsible for the administrative coordination of the Research Field “Information” and acts as a link between the centres involved, the Helmholtz Association Head Office, and the funding bodies.
