About the Innovation & Strategy Department (UE-I)
Innovation & Strategy (UE-I) is part of the Corporate Development at FZ Jülich. In addition to the thematic focus on innovation and transfer, the department supports projects in structural change and is responsible for sustainability management.
The Innovation Managers support projects involving the transfer of technologies and knowledge. They support researchers in marketing their inventions and innovations and in exchanging knowledge and impulses with society.
What is knowledge and technology transfer?
Forschungszentrum Jülich focuses on sustainability in science and work processes. Sustainability management develops strategies for sustainable organisational development and provides insights into their implementation. It is also involved in cross-cutting collaborative projects that develop basic sustainability standards for research institutions and shape research processes responsibly.
