Korea-Germany S&T Workshop
On November 21 and 22, a Korea-Germany S&T Workshop will be held in Forschungszentrum Jülich, jointly organized by National Research Council of Science & Technology, South Korea (NST; comparable with HGF) and the Korean Embassy in Bonn. Since 2020, the FZJ annually publishes a joint project call for cooperation with NST (Link). Please find attached a program draft.
In this workshop, Korean scientists from 5 different NST member institutes and Jülich scientists from the fields of bio- and geosciences, energy, material sciences and quantum technology will present their research institutes and activities and share ideas about possible future collaboration opportunities. In addition, experts from the International Bureau, EUREKA, PTJ and the Department of National and International Relations in Corporate Development will present the current state of cooperation with South Korean partners and possible project funding opportunities. There will also be a general guide for preparing a competitive Horizon Europe application with partner institutions from South Korea.
All scientists who would like to meet Korean research institutions and scientists are welcome to attend.
Please register until November 14 (Mo) by contacting Dr. Hyunji Park (UE, Tel. 8915, hj.park@fz-juelich.de).
Due to the increasing numbers of Covid infections, we kindly ask you to wear a mask during the event.
