Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung - Georg Forster Research Fellowships for PostDocs

In providing Georg Forster Research Fellowships for PostDocs, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation enables high-qualified scientists from abroad who are just embaring on their academic careers and who completed their doctorates less than four years ago to spend extended periods of research (6 – 24 months) in Germany. Applications from women and people from Least Developed Countries (LDC) according to UN definition are particularly welcome.

Fellowship: 2.670 Euro/month
(additional funding like mobility lumb sum, lump sum for travel expenses, etc.)

Duration: 6 – 24 months

Applications can be submitted online at any time, but should be sent at least four to seven months before the targeted selection date.

Review process: The selection committee consists of approximately 20 academics from all disciplines and meets in February, June and October.
