UNESCO Biodiversity Day
The UNESCO project schools from the Mönchengladbach area presented their projects around education for sustainable development. We are thrilled that the topic of the bioeconomy has been taken up by vocational colleges and is now becoming tangible in many places in the Rhineland region - because bringing the bioeconomy into education means actively shaping the future! Vivid exhibits and practical innovations, such as packaging material made from plant fibers, bioplastics from organic residues or the dual use of arable land for energy and food production were presented.
