Training
We also train apprentices! Become part of our team: Training in science!
We are looking for committed and talented young people who want to put their passion for technology and science into practice. Our training is not only characterized by technical excellence and exciting projects, but also offers a supportive community where you can contribute your ideas and work together with experienced professionals on groundbreaking projects. As part of the broad and highly qualified training opportunities here at Forschungszentrum Jülich, you will not only have the chance to develop your potential, but also gain a unique insight into the world of bioeconomy, plant science or engineering and become part of the applied sciences within the pioneering bioeconomy.
For example, the dual study program for Mathematical-technical Software Developers (MATSE) offers you the opportunity to perfectly combine theory and practice. As a MATSE apprentice, you will not only be introduced to software development, but also to concepts of applied mathematics and computer science, which form the basis for innovative solutions. Our modern working environment and experienced mentors will guide you through your dual studies, with the training taking place as part of the dual study program "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science" (FH Aachen).
We also provide training in other professions, e.g. IT specialists for system integration, natural science professions in biology or chemistry or in the commercial sector (from financial management to human resources or office communication).
Further information on the apprenticeships, prerequisites, application procedures and the course of the apprenticeships can be obtained from the Central Vocational Training Office of the Research Center.
