DAAD-Project-related personal exchange programme – PPP

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports research collaborations with various countries through its project-related personal exchange programme (PPP). These include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Hong Kong, Korea, New Zealand, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Taiwan, Czech Republic, Hungary and the USA.

The aim is to initiate or intensify binational partnership-based research activities between a German and a foreign university or research institution in order to strengthen scientific relations. Special emphasis is placed on the qualification of young academics.

Funding is provided for research visits to the cooperation partner. Possible project participants: Graduates (Master's and Master's students), doctoral researchers, post-doctoral researchers, post-doctoral lecturers).

Applications for project funding from all disciplines can be submitted by German universities and non-university research institutions via the DAAD portal (www.mydaad.de). At least two people should be involved on both sides, at least one of whom must be a junior researcher.

The applicant's foreign partner must submit a corresponding application for funding to the DAAD's foreign cooperation partner at the same time.

Australia: 19.06.
Brazil: 20.05.
France: 03.07.
Canada: 04.06.
Korea: 12.06.
New Zealand: 28.06.
