Diversity & Inclusion

The diversity of our employees is a decisive factor for success and an invaluable resource for the excellent research at Forschungszentrum Jülich. It enables innovation, creativity, and the integration of many perspectives on the same topic – be that scientifically, technically, administratively, or strategically. Forschungszentrum Jülich therefore promotes an open and inclusive corporate culture, which gives all employees the opportunity to develop their full potential.

The Equal Opportunities Bureau promotes diversity and inclusion at Forschungszentrum Jülich. It advises and supports employees, supervisors as well as applicants and interested parties. The staff unit aims to increase visibility and awareness of diversity. To this end, it uses internal communication and exchange formats and supports and promotes employee networks (e.g. LGBTIQ+ & Friends or FemaleVoice).
