After last year's Read Aloud Day was a great success, we would now like to invite you once again to an excursion into the world of wind energy. With new exciting models and other innovations, the Read Aloud Day is also suitable for those who already took part in November 2020.

The Equal Opportunities Bureau, the School Lab and our colleague from the Project Management Organisation Jülich, Thomas Simons, cordially invite you to a literally moving afternoon on the topic of wind energy. Thomas Simons will read from his children's book "Windenergie kinderleicht" and give the children exciting facts about wind energy. Afterwards, the children will make their own wind turbine and test for themselves how much the wind can move. A concluding question and answer session allows for an interactive exchange and offers space for open questions.

The offer is primarily aimed at employees of the Helmholtz Centres / interested parties with children of pre-school and primary school age, but younger and older children are also welcome.

We look forward to receiving your mandatory registration at bfc@fz-juelich.de.

You can find the book Windenergie kinderleicht in bookshops (ISBN 978-3946732686, 4,99 €).

The Read Aloud Day will be held in German.
