Benedikt Sabass Wins the German Biophysical Society’s Young Investigators Award

Dr. Benedikt Sabass of ICS-2 was presented with one of two Young Investigators Awards at the Biennial Meeting 2018 of the German Biophysical Society (DGfB) held from 16 – 19 September in Düsseldorf.

His lecture describing his research on understanding the micromechanics of bacteria, with particular regard to traction, was awarded prize money as well as funding for a period of research at the Chair of Molecular Physical Chemistry of the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf.
