As a part of the TERENO-related measurement programme, eddy covariance flux measurements of land surface – atmosphere exchanges are performed by the Agrosphere together with the University of Trier at a forest site in the recently founded National Park “Eifel”. The site is dominated by spruce forest and part of one of the subcatchments equipped with SoilNet. Together with one grassland and one agricultural station also operated by the Agrosphere in the Rur catchment, it will be one of our ICOS sites.
