Call for Abstract: "Aktuelle Entwicklungen in Modellbildung und Simulation"

In this thematically open session, current theoretical and methodological developments in modelling and simulation will be discussed. Submissions should either address current issues from an analytical-sociological perspective, or propose innovative explanations for known research problems or present current empirical findings. Of particular interest are papers that demonstrate original modelling, use new methods and data to investigate specific research problems or invite discussion of null results. Presentations on questions of empirically based parameterisation of simulation models and on the collection, linking and analysis of different data sources and formats for the systematic testing of theoretical models are also welcome.
