Additional Information

MR-Physics

MRI

The primary aim of the MRI group is the development and implementation of new methods, hardware and sequences in magnetic resonance imaging with a focus on the brain.

Technical Aspects of MR-PET

PET

Positron emission tomography (PET) is a unique modality for imaging normal and diseased metabolical functions in vivo in a quantitative manner.

MEG-Physik

MEG

Magnetoencephalography (MEG) is a non-invasive measurement for the detection of the tiny magnetic field components originated from the information processes in the living human brain.

Brain Tumors

Brain Tumours

The special field of interest of this group is the preclinical and clinical testing of new radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine diagnostics of brain tumours using Positron-Emission-Tomography (PET) and correlation with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
