First Workshop on Hybrid Methods in Molecular Simulation

The First Workshop on Hybrid Methods in Molecular Simulation will take place on April 3-4 at the Sala SEARCH of Cagliari city hall, ITALY. The workshop will be a highly informal forum for PhD students, postdocs and (mostly) early stage researchers to present and exchange new ideas.

Particularly important in this respect will be the poster session of the workshop. There is no conference fee to participate at the workshop. PhD students/postdocs are encouraged to apply and send title/abstract for their poster session. Three posters will be selected by the organisers for spotlight talks.

The meeting is funded by the EU initiatives HPC-LEAP and BioExcel. HPC-LEAP is a highly interdisciplinary joint doctorate program in applied mathematics, high performance computing technologies, particle and nuclear physics, fluid dynamics and life sciences to appropriately train researchers in Europe to exploit high performance computing, advance science and promote innovation. BioExcel is the Center of Excellence for Computational Biomolecular Research which supports academia and industry in the use of high-end computing in biomolecular research.
