The first joint IAS Symposium will be held this year on December 5th and 6th at the Central Library Auditorium of FZJ.

The goal of this two-day event is to promote and showcase the various research efforts within the IAS institutes as well as to support and spark cross-institute collaboration. Selected talks from the various IAS institutes will be given, and poster sessions will take place on both days of the event.

On December 5th a panel session event, titled "Past, Present, and Future of IAS" is scheduled where the directors of various IAS/JSC Institutes will discuss about the (naturally) past, present, and future of IAS. Questions to the panel will also be taken from the public.
