RISE Worldwide (Research Internships in Science and Engineering) offers research internships for undergraduate students from Germany at universities and research institutions worldwide. Undergraduate students are supervised and supported by local researchers. Providers have the opportunity to stregthen their ties to Germany and attract highly qualified students to support theit research.
The interns receive a monthly stipend, as well as travel expences and insurance coverage.
The programme is aimed at fully enrolled Bachelor students of natural sciences, engineering, geosciences and related disciplines at German universities.
Application period: October 15, 2024 – November 30, 2024.
Internship duration: 6 weeks to 3 months during the summer. Earliest start date: 1 June 2025 (Different deadlines for internships in Canada)
Please note: If the internship period (summer 2025) coincides with an existing employment relationship as a student assistant or temporary employee at Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH, participation in the program must be coordinated with the Human Resources Department, Personnel Management (P-B) in individual cases.
