The division Support for Early-Career Scientists assists excellent scientists in successfully securing competitive third-party funding. A particular focus is placed on advising on young investigator group leadership positions as well as individual funding schemes of the European Research Council (ERC). We provide support from the initial idea through to submission and beyond.

Our support includes the strategic refinement of your research profile, the development of a compelling project idea, and the tailored preparation of funding applications. In addition, we advise on formal requirements, evaluation criteria, and optimal positioning in the international competition. We support coordination and communication across organizational units and act as a central interface to ensure efficient and transparent procedural workflows. We also help in preparing for interviews and presentations.
