Structured Suppport for Scientific Careers

Our Structured Support Programs

Excellent research requires excellent framework conditions. With structured support programs, we accompany researchers in the early stages of their careers – from the beginning of the doctoral journey, through interdisciplinary networking, to assuming scientific responsibility as junior research group leaders.

Our programs, JuDocS, the Collaborative Doctoral Projects, and the support for young investigator group leaders, provide targeted assistance where careers begin, grow, and where researchers take on responsibility. They create reliability, networking opportunities, and visibility, while also serving as a strategic instrument for the sustainable development of scientific talent at Forschungszentrum Jülich.

In doing so, our support programs make an active contribution to the scientific excellence and innovative strength of the center, as well as to the qualification of researchers who will shape our future.
