Kleine Füchse daycare centre

The Kleine Füchse daycare centre is located on the campus of Forschungszentrum Jülich. It is not a company childcare facility but rather a publicly funded childcare centre that cooperates with Forschungszentrum Jülich. Parents, who do not work for Forschungszentrum Jülich, also have the possibility to register their children at the Kleine Füchse daycare centre.

The Kleine Füchse daycare centre offers all-day care for children between the ages of 4 months and 14 years. In addition to toddler groups, mixed-age groups, and a regular kindergarten group, there is also an after-school group. Furthermore, the parents’ association organizes activities for schoolchildren during the holidays that take place during the summer, Easter, and autumn holidays.

Childcare groups

At the daycare centre, a total of 134 childcare places are available:

  • U3: three toddler groups (for children between the ages of 1 and 3 years)
  • Ü3: two regular groups (for children from the age of 3 years until they enter primary school)
  • Mixed-age: two groups (for children from the age of 1 until they enter primary school)
  • After-school group: one group (for schoolchildren)
  • Activities during the holidays (for schoolchildren) organized by the parents’ association
