Networks
In order to increase exchange and cohesion, we support a wide variety of employee networks.
Female Voice
FemaleVoice is the women's network of and for the FZJ. In addition to the classic goals of networks such as exchanging information and experiences as well as establishing contacts, with FemaleVoice we want to proactively address issues that serve gender equality at the research center. We want to be heard and seen, to actively contribute our perspectives and experiences to actions, projects, programs and meetings and thus help shape content relevant to gender equality.
Rainbow Network
The Rainbow Network is committed to raising awareness of the diversity of gender identities and sexual orientations at the Forschungszentrum Jülich. This strengthens employees and promotes mutual respect. The term "rainbow" is the linguistic equivalent of the rainbow flag, which sends a positive signal to the LGBTIQNA* community. By avoiding a list of gender identities and sexual orientations, the network emphasizes that all people are welcome - including allies (supporters of the community).
JuWinHPC
JuWinHPC is the Jülich network for members of the international initiative "Women in High Performance Computing (WHPC)", which advocates for equality, diversity and inclusion in the HPC community. The aim of this group is to strengthen the local community of women in the HPC sector and to promote diversity in the community.
Family ambassadors
Our family ambassadors are employees who act as multipliers on a voluntary basis on the topic of balancing work and care work. They actively pass on information in their organizational units and support managers and colleagues in selecting the right contact person and advice centers. They also take on topics and questions that need to be resolved at the operational level. In the network, they work together with other family ambassadors to exchange experiences, implement practical and further family-conscious measures and share best practice examples.
