Intranet off Campus

The BfC is aware of the problem that certain information is only accessible via the intranet. Therefore, all important information provided by the BfC is also available on the internet.

VPN

Once set up, a Virtual Private Network (VPN) establishes a secure connection to the network of Forschungszentrum Jülich with a small click. The intranet and all other services (e.g. access to network folders) that can only be accessed via this network will then also work perfectly from home.

Application, set-up & contact

In order to be able to use the VPN, an application to the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC) must be submitted.
A valid official Jülich email address is required for this purpose.
Request or extend email address in the ITS Self-Service (also available outside the FZJ network)

All information about setting up a VPN is sent with the email containing the personal access information.
