Projects, Cooperation and Collaborations

The BFC is very interested in cooperating with internal and external partners. We are happy to support projects for the advancement of women in science and leadership as well as measures and campaigns for career orientation in STEM.

Joint Guidelines on Equal Opportunities

Forschungszentrum Jülich, the University of Cologne, RWTH Aachen University, TH Köln, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and the FH Aachen – University of Applied Sciences are united by a close partnership in research, education, and science management. Together, we are committed to actively supporting diversity, a variety of perspectives, and equal opportunities.

Our joint guidelines on equal opportunities create the framework conditions to ensure that the institutions involved are open to everyone, irrespective of their personal circumstances or social background. The aim is to promote an organizational culture in which individual, social, and cultural diversity is viewed as an asset and a sign of quality.

Further important cornerstones of the joint guidelines include increasing diversity at management level, helping to reconcile work and family life, eradicating discrimination, and supporting equal career opportunities.
