With its six infrastructure divisions, Human Resources provides centralized personnel services for science, infrastructure, and project management at Forschungszentrum Jülich.
We, the Human Resources division, recruit competent and motivated employees for Forschungszentrum Jülich and represent Forschungszentrum Jülich at national and international events and trade fairs, as well as online as an attractive employer and a company that offers vocational training. We also assist employees in contractual matters, draft job classifications, and support the numerous foreign colleagues working at our international enterprise. Another responsibility involves processing salary payments and managing the diverse business trips of our international science enterprise.
We oversee the vocational training of some 350 young people and coordinate work placements for more than 300 secondary school students and university students every year. In our division, we work on concepts for human resource development and follow through on their implementation. We are responsible for configuring and implementing continuing professional development with the aim of optimally equipping employees for their tasks. In addition, we have specialists dedicated to the health of employees at Forschungszentrum Jülich. As a service provider for management, we also ensure strategic personnel planning and manage personnel resources.
