Sciebo is a non-commercial file-hosting service for research, universities, and schools, which offers cloud storage as well as sharing and collaboration options. The service enables automatic synchronization of data with different devices and collaborative work on documents.
Each Sciebo user receives 30 GB of storage space, which can be increased to 500 GB or up to 2 TB for work in project groups (project boxes). All employees of Forschungszentrum Jülich can use the Sciebo cloud solution for business purposes and invite guests to participate.

The Central Library is responsible for a comprehensive and high-quality supply of literature and information. It provides a wide range of books, journals, and databases via the JuLib eXtended information portal. The Central Library offers advice on open access and publication charges, supports you with its Language Services, and guarantees the visibility of your publications by means of the JuSER publications portal.

The institution is certified as a “Little Scientists’ House” and as a “Bewegungskindergarten” (a kindergarten which encourages exercise).

Four charging stations for e-cars are now available next to the main entrance of the Executive Board building (15.3). The covered charging points are a four-year pilot measure to promote electromobility on campus and part of environmentally friendly mobility management.
