Our canteen – the “Seecasino” – is the place to go on the Jülich campus for excellent and professional catering. The Seecasino offers a free-flow system, which includes many varied and flavoursome lunchtime options. The Seecasino’s menus for each week are available on the intranet.

At the Seecasino, you use your employee ID card to pay. You need to top up your employee ID card using the machines in the entrance area (either using cash or an EC card).

A navigation app will help you to find your way around Forschungszentrum Jülich’s 2.2 square kilometre campus. Download the app to your smartphone and it will show you the shortest route to your destination. The app is available in Apple’s App Store and in the Google Play Store.

In Forschungszentrum Jülich’s official Campusstore online shop, you will find a wide variety of merchandise and gift items. On the intranet, you can find more information on the shop.

With the pakadoo service, employees can have private parcels delivered to the parcel station on Forschungszentrum Jülich’s campus. Further information is available on the intranet.

Sciebo is a non-commercial file-hosting service for research, universities, and schools, which offers cloud storage as well as sharing and collaboration options. The service enables automatic synchronization of data with different devices and collaborative work on documents.
Each Sciebo user receives 30 GB of storage space, which can be increased to 500 GB or up to 2 TB for work in project groups (project boxes). All employees of Forschungszentrum Jülich can use the Sciebo cloud solution for business purposes and invite guests to participate.

The Central Library is responsible for a comprehensive and high-quality supply of literature and information. It provides a wide range of books, journals, and databases via the JuLib eXtended information portal. The Central Library offers advice on open access and publication charges, supports you with its Language Services, and guarantees the visibility of your publications by means of the JuSER publications portal.

Graphical Media offers a wide range of services and products in the fields of media design and print products. Should you require a service we do not offer in-house, we will collaborate with external partners to provide you with the desired service. In this instance, we will remain your first point of contact. You will benefit from Graphical Media’s professional support, which will give you the opportunity to fully focus on your area of expertise.

The “Kleine Füchse” daycare centre is a public institution where 134 children aged from 4 months to 14 years are looked after lovingly. You will find more detailed information on the “Kleine Füchse” Internet pages.

The institution is certified as a “Little Scientists’ House” and as a “Bewegungskindergarten” (a kindergarten which encourages exercise).

Four charging stations for e-cars are now available next to the main entrance of the Executive Board building (15.3). The covered charging points are a four-year pilot measure to promote electromobility on campus and part of environmentally friendly mobility management.

The possibility of using the office, a meeting room or purpose-equipped rooms in childcare emergencies.
