Jülich as an Employer
Our research can only produce outstanding results with excellent employees. We see their motivation and creativity as our greatest asset.
Shaping change: This is what drives us at Forschungszentrum Jülich. As a member of the Helmholtz Association with around 7,200 employees, we conduct research into the possibilities of a digitized society, a climate-friendly energy system, and a resource-efficient economy.
We combine natural, life, and engineering sciences in the fields of information, energy, and the bioeconomy with specialist expertise in high-performance computing and we also use unique scientific infrastructure.
The diversity of our employees is a decisive factor for success and an invaluable resource for the excellent research at Forschungszentrum Jülich. We therefore want to provide real equal opportunities for all employees. The Equal Opportunities Bureau is committed to this aim. It focuses on the priority topics of reconciling work and family life, gender mainstreaming, as well as diversity and inclusion. The Equal Opportunities Bureau advises all employees, senior employees, and cooperation partners on these matters, implements numerous support measures, and thereby helps to shape a family- and diversity-friendly corporate culture based on equal opportunities at Forschungszentrum Jülich.
