Wissenschaft online: AI for better weather and climate forecasts (Talk in German)

Every week on Thursdays from 3 to about 4 p.m., colleagues from Forschungszentrum Jülich present their work in a video conference. Short films and photos complement the format. Questions from the participants and a lively exchange are clearly encouraged.

On Thursday, Oct. 7, at 3 p.m., Dr. Martin Schultz from the Jülich Supercomputing Centre will present AI methods for better weather and climate predictions. He will start by looking at current weather and climate models of today and where AI is already being used. Another intriguing question Schultz wants to address: How can AI help further improve weather and climate forecasts?

The talk will be given in German.
