The Institute for Materials Data Science and Informatics (IAS-9) is a new, multidisciplinary institute that combines disciplines ranging from data analysis and materials simulation to research data management and software development under one roof. For this, methods from the field of Computational Material Science are used together with approaches and concepts from Informatics, Data Science and Information Science. This talk introduces our current HPC-related activities.
