JUGENE Ranked No. 2 on Graph 500 List

A new ranking list of supercomputers has been introduced in 2010, the Graph 500 list. This list benchmarks for data intensive applications, see http://www.graph500.org. In the June 2011 edition of Graph 500, Jülich's petaflop supercomputer JUGENE shares the top 2 spots together with the Blue Gene/P installation at Argonne, USA, finishing just 0.5% behind that system.
