Biohybrid Synapses for Interactive Neuronal Networks — ERC project BRAIN-ACT aims to develop the next generation of interactive biohybrid platforms where biological neuronal cells interface 3D neuromorphic devices resembling the shape and functionalities of dendritic synapses. The project is focused on engineering a dynamic polymer-based neuromorphic device with 3D vertical structures resembling the shape of neuronal dendritic spines.
