The research fields of IBI-7 include the investigation of the high-resolution three-dimensional structure and dynamics of biologically and medically relevant proteins as well as their interaction with other proteins and small ligands. In particular, the focus is on proteins involved in autophagy or in diseases such as AIDS and SARS as well as neurodegenerative diseases.
