How to join our team:

Our lab welcomes highly motivated students and PhDs to join our research efforts. Please contact us if you have a more general or particular interest in our research activities.

Postdocs

We encourage excellent PhDs that are considering pursuing an academic career to join our group. In particular, candidates with an aptitude in structural biology methods such as cryo-EM and X-ray crystallography combined with biochemistry expertise are encouraged to apply. They should consider applying for external funding sources such as EMBO, HFSP, or Marie Curie fellowships during their postdoctoral period at the Ernst-Ruska Centre. PhD students

If you have an interest in our research programs on cryo-EM and autophagy, please contact us to find out whether we will be recruiting PhD students.

Bachelor and Master students

We will also consider applications from bachelor and master students with education in the areas of biochemistry, molecular biology, biophysics and bioinformatics. We prefer to give longer-term internships from 6 months to 1 year. Please include your motivation and contact us for further details.
