JSC @ ISC High Performance '14
The International Supercomputing Conference ISC'14 took place from 23 June to 26 June 2014 in Leipzig. JSC, together with its partners in the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing (GCS), HLRS (Stuttgart) and LRZ (Garching), presented its wide-ranging supercomputing activities at the GCS booth #940.
In particular, JSC showcased LLview, the comprehensive interactive monitoring software for supercomputers developed in-house, demonstrating live the operation of various supercomputers worldwide. In addition, JSC also showed the LLview monitoring components of the Eclipse PTP development environment for supercomputing applications. A wide spectrum of scientific results obtained with its supercomputers JUGENE, JUQUEEN, and JUROPA were exhibited in videos and animations. Finally, JSC's participation in the Human Brain Project was another hot topic.
JSC staff gave several presentations at the conference and were also at hand at the European Exscale Projects (#833), the PRACE (#932), and the UNICORE (#951) booths.
