Quantum Computing

Quantum computing is a new, innovative way of computing with potential applications in quantum simulations in chemistry, materials science, optimization, and machine learning. The Juelich UNified Infrastructure for Quantum Computing (JUNIQ), which will offer users access to different quantum devices, was launched in 2020 with access to a quantum annealer from D-Wave. The JUNIQ building will host such an annealer at JSC. Find out more about this exciting new technology and JSC’s expertise and services in this field.
