JSC @ Supercomputing Conference SC 21
14-19 November 2021
St. Louis, Missouri
The Supercomputing Conference SC21 will take place as a hybrid – on-site and virtual – event from 14-19 November 2021 in St. Louis, Missouri.
JSC together with its partners ParTec and the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance (JARA) will present their manifold activities in November on JSC’s virtual booth.
This year’s highlight will be our virtual interactive event. Join us on 16 November starting at 7 pm CET (12 am CST) and get the latest news on JSC@GCS’s pathway to exascale with our pathfinder modular system JUWELS, insights into the performance and application of the 75 PFLOP/s JUWELS Booster Module, Europe’s first D-Wave system made available through the Juelich UNified Infrastructure for Quantum Computing (JUNIQ), and intriguing research results from the Earth System Modelling community in four exciting talks. Furthermore, take the opportunity to virtually meet and discuss with our experts on these and more fascinating topics, like our activities in the EBRAINS research infrastructure and the Fenix infrastructure or new developments and new features of our in-house developed HPC tools like LLview, SIONlib, JUBE, and Scalasca.
On the virtual booth our co-design partner ParTec presents its expertise in the HPC domain and its key contribution to the modular software stack, also the DEEP projects will present their latest developments. Within JARA the activities and services in the Center for Simulation and Data Science (CSD) are highlighted.
As part of the conference programme, JSC employees will among other activities organise the full-day online tutorial “Hands-On Practical Hybrid Parallel Application Performance Engineering”, co-organise the workshop "Research Software Engineers in HPC", give presentations in the tutorial "Efficient Distributed GPU Programming for Exascale ", present talks, and participate in special interest group sessions and panel discussions.
Please see the list below for further activities, details, and exact dates of the events.
