Helmholtz Research School
The International Helmholtz Research School of Biophysics and Soft Matter (IHRS BioSoft) provides excellent research opportunities for PhD projects. The aim of our complementary research training is to offer a curriculum at the interfaces between biology, chemistry, and physics.Jülich Soft Matter Days
In this years meeting, which as in previous years will take place in the vicinity of Jülich from 15 to 18 November 2011, we intend to focus on: Biosystems Colloids Polymers Self AssemblyNeutronenpraktikum
The Jülich Centre for Neutron Science (JCNS) at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany, organises in cooperation with the University of Münster (Prof. D. Richter, Dr. R. Zorn) and the RWTH Aachen (Prof. G. Heger, Prof. G. Roth, Prof. T. Brückel) a laboratory course in neutron scattering.Ferienschule
The spring school intends to give an introduction and an overview of current research topics of macromolecular systems in soft matter and cellular biology. Macromolecules such as synthetic polymers, polyelectrolytes, amphiphiles and colloids are the key building blocks of many modern materials.
