ICFPM19 Lecture Prize for Nileena Nandakumaran
06 June 2019
At the International Conference on Fine Particle Magnetism 2019 (ICFPM19), Nileena Nandakumaran was awarded a prize for the best student lecture. She is a PhD student at the Institute of Quantum Materials and Collective Phenomena (JCNS-2/PGI-4), and presented the results of her research on how the size of magnetic nanoparticles influences their ability to self-assemble. The study could contribute to a better understanding and control of the self-organization of complex nanoparticles.
The ICFPM19 took place from 26-31 May in the Spanish coastal town of Gijon.
