Quantum Materials

Quantum materials are those where reduced dimensionality, quantum coherence, the topology of wavefunctions, quantum fluctuations, electron-electron interactions, and spin-orbit coupling plays a crucial role. Such quantum materials include superconductors, graphene, topological insulators, Weyl semimetals, quantum spin liquids, and spin ices, to name a few.
