Collaborations

LOFAR

Since 2009, ASTRON and JSC have collaborated to establish and operate a long-term archive for LOFAR data at JSC. This archive has been essential in supporting groundbreaking scientific research, including the publication of a new sky map in 2022, based on data from the LOFAR Two-Metre Sky Survey (LoTSS).

GLOW and VdR

JSC has a long-standing collaboration with the German LOng Wavelength (GLOW) consortium, supporting the storage, processing, and analysis of radio astronomy data.

Additionally, JSC is a member of the Verein für datenintensive Radioastronomie (VdR), further strengthening its commitment to advancing astronomical research and fostering collaboration within the scientific community.

JuWinHPC

Collaborations

JSC supports the Women in HPC (WHPC) initiative, promoting diversity and inclusion in high-performance computing. Several members are also actively involved in the local WHPC chapter, JuWinHPC, fostering networking and mentorship within the community.
