About us
The IHRS BioSoft was established at Forschungszentrum Jülich and is run in collaboration with University of Cologne, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, RWTH Aachen University, and the Max Planck Institute for Neurobiology of Behavior – caesar Bonn.
The school is part of the network of Helmholtz research schools and graduate schools, and the graduate academy Albertus Magnus Center at the University of Cologne. Fellow Ph.D. students and faculty members based in sixteen institutes actively contribute to teaching and research.
Ph.D. students mainly work within their own group but are also members of the IHRS BioSoft which provides them with additional support and training opportunities. For Master students, the IHRS BioSoft offers an annual Guest Student Programme. German speakers can find a German profile of the IHRS BioSoft on the website of e-fellows.net.
