Optical Microscopy Lab Course

Optical microscopy is a key method for cell biology, biophysics and soft matter physics. This lab course that complements the lecture series will take place on four days in the week of September 5-9, 2016. To register, please send an email to biosoft@fz-juelich.de until August 29. Priority will be given to fellows of the IHRS BioSoft.

Course content:

(I) Knowledge on Köhler, Abbe, and grating
(II) Fluorescence microscopy
(III) Set-up and use of a (confocal) microscope
(IV) Contrast principles in microscopy
(V) Differential dynamic microscopy
