Exhibition – OUR STATE. 75 Years of North Rhine-Westphalia

3 November 2021

At the request of the curators for the exhibition “OUR STATE. 75 Years of North Rhine-Westphalia”, Véronique Kentzinger (archivist at the Central Library of Forschungszentrum Jülich, responsible for the historical documentation of Forschungszentrum Jülich) provided objects and photos from Forschungszentrum Jülich for the exhibition.

In Düsseldorf, you can view the gold plaque of the 1971 national competition “Industrie in der Landschaft” (industry in the landscape), which was awarded for exemplary achievements in balancing technology and nature for the sake of human-oriented urban development. You can find the plaque and further information in the unit entitled “Shattered Nuclear Dreams”, which is located at the “Environment in Danger” station.
