Analyses for Centre for Higher Education Development (CHE)

Every year, CHE publishes a ranking list of German universities. Since 2008, the bibliometrics group at the Central Library (ZB) has provided the bibliometric statistics for the CHE University Ranking. The results are published in the DIE ZEIT Study Guide by the weekly national newspaper DIE ZEIT.

Bibliometrics report as part of the Pact for Research and Innovation (PFI)

The “Pact for Research and Innovation” was signed by the German federal and state governments in 2005. Its aim is to improve the competitiveness of the German science system. On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the bibliometrics group, in cooperation with KU Leuven, contributes bibliometric analyses to the annual report of the PFI. Report on the DFG funding programme “Open Access Publishing”

The German Research Foundation (DFG) has been supporting the “gold” open access model since 2010. The bibliometrics group, together with colleagues from the Central Library (ZB), created the report on the DFG funding programme.
