Using the library as an external user – online
The Central Library participates in the German interlibrary loan system. It is possible to order items from us via an interlibrary loan at your local library or university library. You will find our library catalogue on the JuLib eXtended Information Portal.

The Central Library lists the scientific publications of Jülich researchers in the JuSER Publication Portal. Many publications are freely accessible.

Using the library as an external user – at Forschungszentrum Jülich
Guests are able to make use of the literature available in the reading room of the Central Library. Please call the Information Desk at the Central Library for further information before coming to Forschungszentrum Jülich.
Former employees of Forschungszentrum Jülich and companies are also able to make use of certain additional services offered by the Central Library.

Access to Forschungszentrum Jülich
External users must bring with them a national identity card or passport to register at the Visitor's Reception of Forschungszentrum Jülich. You will receive a visitor’s badge that you need to return upon leaving the campus.
