Vierter Call geöffnet: Einreichungsfrist 29.10.2024, 17:00 Uhr (deutsche Zeit).

DPPN e.V. initially acquired the BMBF-funded pilot project "DPPN-ACCESS" (01.01.2022 - 31.12.2023). The requirements for the application procedure and the application guidelines were drawn up and two calls were launched. 19 applications have been submitted while 14 proposals have been accepted. 8 accesses have been established at IBG-2 using different facilities, like the BreedFACE, GrowScreenRhizo 3, MiniPlots, PlantMRI, PhenoSeeder or the HiDeR system. All reports of the experiments can be found here.

DPPN-Access 2.0: Next call is open

In order to ensure the implementation of further external user projects in the longer term, the BMBFfunded follow-up project "DPPN-ACCESS 2.0" (01.01.2024-31.12.2028) was acquired. The follow-up project DPPN-ACCESS 2.0 is intended to ensure an extended value creation of the funds invested in the DPPN project and thus contribute to improving the conditions for national research in the field of plant phenotyping.

A third call has already been launched end of 2023. The call attracted 11 applications; all applications have been accepted. 9 accesses are provided at IBG-2, while 4 applications use two combined facilities:

  • PlantMRI & phenoPET: PLASTIBEET I & II: Plasticity of carbon distribution in sugar beet (Beta vulgaris) taproots using combined MRI and PET-approach
  • PhenoSeeder & GrowScreenChamber: SeedTraits & PlantVigour: Characterization of the early vigour of Arabidopsis seeds grown on experimentally engineered soil microbe communities.
  • PlantMRI & phenoPET: PeaCaRo: Influence of sucrose allocation on carbon allocation and root growth in the model legume garden pea
  • Screen House & PhenoSeeder: Gain4Crops: Rewiring photorespiration using natural and synthetic pathways to sustainably increase crop yield
