HR Marketing
Forschungszentrum Jülich faces the challenge of filling more than 1,000 positions with different and partially highly specific qualifications each year.
The HR Marketing team has a clear vision: We want to promote the research center as an attractive employer to potential applicants. Our goal is to raise awareness of the unique working conditions and diverse career opportunities at one of Europe’s largest research centers and to encourage qualified candidates to apply. Through targeted initiatives, creative ideas, and transparent communication both internally and externally, we ensure that our employer benefits are presented in an authentic and compelling way. In addition to our cross-divisonal activities, we also serve as a central service provider to various organizational units, assisting them with their own HR marketing initiatives.

The marketing activities are aimed at both early-career researchers and people interested in entry-level positions in administrative and technical fields. In particular, they include:
- Continuous development of the HR Marketing strategy under consideration of the research center's Employer Brand
- Intensive internal and external networking with relevant contacts and networks, as well as collaboration with colleagues in science, to provide authentic insights into day-to-day work
- Participation in national and international recruiting fairs and career events targeted at specific audiences at universities, as well as the organization of our own events (both virtual and in-person)
- Editorial pieces and image ads
- Management of the research center’s career website, LinkedIn career channel, and online company profiles
- Providing a career newsletter
