To ensure we are best placed to achieve our aims, Forschungszentrum Jülich is supported by a Scientific Advisory Council made up of renowned personalities. The Council advises the Board of Directors on matters of fundamental and strategic importance and critically assesses Forschungszentrum Jülich from an external perspective.
The committee consists of members who are not employees of the company. They are appointed by the Supervisory Board, as a rule for five years. The chairperson is a member of the Supervisory Board.
