                                                  Bioorganic Chemistry

Prof. Dr. Jörg Pietruszka - Our mission is the synthesis of exciting natural products. For this we combine traditional chemical methods of natural product synthesis and organoboron chemistry with alternative methods of enzyme catalysis or flow chemistry.

                                                  Secondary metabolism enzymology

Dr. Thomas Classen - In the research group "Secondary metabolism enzymology" we investigate unknown enzymes of the secondary metabolism and attempt to utilize them for synthetic applications.
