IHRS BioSoft Guest Student Programme 2018
From July 22nd to September 28th, IHRS BioSoft groups host Master students from Croatia, India, Italy, Latvia, Mexico, Russia, Serbia, Spain, and Ukraine for the two-month guest student programme. The students work together with more experienced researchers on their own small projects, such as "Developing novel DNA-flagellated nanostructures for motion in aqueous and confined media", "Horizontal gene transfer within bacterial biofilms", "Tissue competition: role of cross-adhesion in 2D", "Efficient ferronematic coupling with polymer-brush particles", "Tuning the dynamic range of genetically encoded glutamate sensors", and "Characterisation and pharmaceutical applications of fusogenic liposomes".
