Open Access Week at Forschungszentrum Jülich

As part of International Open Access Week 2019, the Central Library (ZB) is offering interested colleagues the opportunity to attend a series of information events on the fundamentals of scientific publishing as well as the latest developments in this field.

Why not come visit our ZB info stand in the Seecasino on Monday? We welcome your ideas on open access and are happy to provide information on the current status of global developments and their effects on Forschungszentrum Jülich. On Tuesday, you have the opportunity to participate in a webinar on the fundamentals of open access, Jülich’s approach to it, and ZB’s services concerning this topic. Thursday's workshop will provide tips on successfully submitting manuscripts, while Friday is dedicated to an information event on the publication of research data and software. Throughout the week, we will be challenging you to find your way out of our escape room. The key to escaping is your knowledge on open access and related topics.

In addition, we will give presentations at individual institutes on demand as part of our “Open Access Week on tour”.
