CEPLAS - Postdoctoral research project

To further our understanding of photosynthesis in relevant environmental conditions, and to select genetic variants with improved photosynthetic efficiency under those conditions, we will establish phenotyping platforms that allow capturing of photosynthesis traits under simulated field-like conditions and climate scenarios. Phenotypic data thus obtained will be complemented by omics analyses to enhance mechanistic understanding and to realize genome-to-phenome mapping. Experiments will be designed and analyzed together with computational modeling group towards simulating G x E interactions in model plants and crop species.
